Raymore City updates snow plan, adds larger pretreatment tanks and redraws emergency routes

Raymore City public works staff presented updates to the city's annual snow response plan at the council work session on Oct. 20, saying the changes are intended to speed pretreatment operations and clarify emergency snow-route designations.

The presentation said snow shifts will remain 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with operators rotating day and night. Staff said the city will again rely on the National Weather Service for forecasting and emergency-management coordination. "We're going to use them again," a public works presenter said at 00:07:41.
