Chippewa County adopts stormwater-management ordinance updates on second reading

The Chippewa County Board approved Ordinance 7-25 on second reading, adopting amendments to sections 12-09, 12-21, 12-71 and 12-72 of the county code pertaining to stormwater management.
Trenton Stutter, with the county’s planning, conservation and forest management staff, answered questions from supervisors regarding the ordinance changes during the meeting. Following the presentation and a brief period for questions, the board called the vote and approved the ordinance on second reading.
County staff thanked those who participated in drafting the ordinance; the board recorded approval and moved on to other business.
