The Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Oct. 14 reappointed two members to the airport authority and appointed a new member to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
Dan Holt was reappointed to a five‑year term on the airport authority expiring Sept. 30, 2030. Ryan Dalton was likewise reappointed to a five‑year term expiring Sept. 30, 2030. The board then appointed Hope Mayo Whalen to the Board of Zoning Appeals, filling an expired seat, with a term through Nov. 1, 2027. The mayor and board members lauded Whalen’s construction‑industry background during the introduction.
All three actions were approved by motion and voice vote.
