Henry County approves 2026 Purdue Extension contractual services agreement
Summary

Molly Hunt, with Purdue Extension, presented the proposed 2026 contractual services agreement and explained that the primary changes align personnel and services language with the county—s 2026 budget and support Indiana University—s (Purdue University—s) phased shared-service delivery model including Henry, Blackford, Jay, Delaware, Randolph and Wayne counties.
Hunt said the contract "brings us into alignment with that financial budget piece" and implements the first phase of the university—s transformation to shared service delivery. Commissioner Joel confirmed he had reviewed the final form of the agreement and moved to approve it; the motion passed unanimously (3-0).
County staff said they would execute the contract after receiving the university—s signatures and provide the executed copy to the county.
