If the county accepts the bridge now, county responsibility begins immediately; staff recommended delaying acceptance to allow time for the material to settle and for potential remediation.
Commissioner Cook moved to accept the three LPA vouchers; the motion passed 2-0. The board then voted 2-0 to delay formally accepting the US‑50 bridge until staff and NDOT can reassess it in spring.
