The Flossmoor School District 161 Board of Education voted Oct. 14 to approve its consent agenda, monthly bills and recommended IASB resolutions.
The consent agenda — which the board moved, seconded and adopted by roll call — included personnel report 26006, payroll for September, minutes of board and executive-session meetings, and several revised policies. The board’s roll call was recorded as affirmative and the motion passed.
Board member Ashley Givens presented the bills for October and recommended approval of payments totaling $3,947,078.54 for the period ending Oct. 2, 2025. The board moved, seconded and approved the bills by roll-call vote.
The board also voted to approve recommended constitutional amendments and resolutions from the Illinois Association of School Boards. A board member volunteered to represent the district at the IASB conference next month; Christy (board member) accepted that role.
Votes recorded during the meeting were taken by roll call. Where specific names were recorded as voting, the board’s minutes show unanimous affirmative votes for the motions presented that evening.
