Cheshire High student reps highlight athletics, exchange students, PSAT and October events

The students said 15 exchange students from Cologne, Germany are hosted by local families, and reminded the board that the PSAT for grades 9–11 is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 22; seniors will use that day for college visits or future‑readiness activities. Upcoming events include the CHS Spooktacular parade/run and the Music in Motion marching‑band competition on Saturday.
Board members thanked the students, praised the Eagle Scout project and asked clarifying questions about PSAT relevance for students headed to trade programs; board members and staff noted some trade programs request standardized scores while others use alternative exams.
