Commissioners reviewed Exhibit A and approved the county's purchase agreement for a property, moving that the county execute the documents necessary to effectuate acceptance of the property. The commission voted to empower county counsel and President Brennan to execute remaining closing documents.
"Just, you need to approve the purchase agreement. So motion to approve the purchase grama," a commissioner said when calling for the motion. The board then voted, and the motion passed by voice vote.
Commission discussion indicated staff had reviewed the agreement and counsel had received comments; commissioners agreed a catch-all motion was appropriate to allow execution of any documents needed to complete the purchase.
The approved motions were twofold: (1) approve the purchase agreement and (2) empower county counsel and the commission president to sign documents to effectuate the purchase. Both motions passed by voice vote; no roll-call tally was recorded on the meeting record.
