Council asked staff to publicize the vacancy and to seek at least one new appointee; members discussed scheduling meetings in the evening to make attendance easier for residents who work during the day.
"If anybody out there is interested in, anybody who's listening is interested in, police issues here in Narberth," a council member said while urging applicants. The council agreed to include a call for applicants in the borough email newsletter.
