Jacob (county staff) said his office is prepared to finalize the contract but that the hospital board had not yet formally considered the study. He proposed staff send a follow-up email to the hospital to request their board meeting date and suggested an executive session for more sensitive personnel and contractual matters. Natasha agreed: “I would agree to an executive session,” she said.
Commissioners set an executive session for Monday, Oct. 27, at 8:30 a.m. to interview prospective candidates and address personnel matters. Staff said they will contact the hospital board to confirm its next meeting and will bring additional information to the executive session as needed.
