The Limestone County Board of Education voted unanimously to approve one-time pay increases for employees. The motion authorizes a $1,000 one-time payment for full-time employees with benefits as of Oct. 1, 2025, and a $500 one-time payment for board-approved part-time employees who work 17 or more hours per week. The payments are scheduled to be paid in December 2025.
Doctor Herring offered the motion, which was seconded by Anthony Hilliard, and the board voted in favor without objection.
The board did not provide additional conditions or funding-source breakdowns for the one-time payments during the meeting.
