New owners say Willow Hill will reopen as Golden Century Cafe after renovations

At public comment Oct. 9, Mark Brasher said he and partners (including Sandra Brasher and Randy Spears) are buying the Willow Hill restaurant and plan to rename it the Golden Century Cafe. He said they will close temporarily after closing on the purchase, perform interior and exterior renovations (new awnings, paint, flooring), and reopen with a grand opening that will include free coffee and soda for five weekdays and a 30% discount for police officers in uniform.
Mark Brasher and a business partner described plans to join the Chamber of Commerce, participate in village events and clean up the adjacent property and parking lot. A second speaker who identified himself as a restaurateur with multiple businesses in the region described the economic benefit a well‑run restaurant can bring to a retail strip and said he would support the new owners.
Trustees and staff welcomed the new owners and asked them to provide opening information so the village can post it online and include the business in upcoming community events.
