Town posts first draft of Unified Development Ordinance for public review

Town planning staff announced on Oct. 15 that the first draft of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) is posted on the Town of Saint John website for public review.
Planner Ashley Abernathy said the first draft "is live and available for viewing" on the building and planning section of the town’s website and invited residents to submit comments using the feedback option on the posting. She asked that residents and commissioners email comments so staff can compile them for an updated draft to be discussed at the November study session.
The posting begins the public feedback period; staff will collect comments and present them to the commission as they are received.
