Council committee defers two tax-increment financing resolutions pending missing materials

Sponsors named in the captions include CAP, Toombs and Horton for the Case Place item and Taylor, Toombs and Horton for the Jefferson Street item. Councilmembers said the deferrals would allow staff and MDHA to provide the missing survey and to align the Jefferson Street resolution with a public hearing on related legislation.
No formal action on the substance of the TIF activities occurred; the committee’s recorded action in both cases was a one‑meeting deferral to allow supplemental materials and MDHA representation.
