City Engineer Tom Cobb told the finance committee Oct. 21 that a professional services agreement with Altec will collect turning movement counts and assess timing at 15 intersections on Del Range Boulevard from Yellowstone Road to College Drive.
Cobb said signal timing on Del Range has not been updated in an estimated 10 to 15 years and that recent construction projects required the city to wait for completion before conducting count data. He said retiming is intended to improve efficiency and driver experience. The contract amount is $162,399.
A motion to authorize the agreement not to exceed $162,399 was moved and seconded; the committee voted in favor and will recommend adoption to the full council on Monday.
