At its October meeting the Titus County Commissioners Court recorded and approved multiple motions. All listed motions carried unless otherwise noted below.

Assignment of private activity bond authority: The court approved a resolution assigning private activity bond authority to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to support an affordable housing project in Bowie County. Equipment purchase — Talco Fire Department: The court approved purchase through TIPS contract #240901 of a 2026 Ram 3500 from Elliott Auto Group for $62,172.98, including required brush guard/flatbed; delivery estimated in two to three months. Motion by Commissioner Parchman; second by Commissioner Applewhite; outcome: approved.
Appraisal District board nominations: The court nominated and approved retaining current Titus County Appraisal District directors (Mike Reynolds, David Ryder, Buddy Blue, Joe Lewis, Steve Martin) and authorized vote submission before the Oct. 30 deadline. Motion by Commissioner Applewhite; second by Commissioner Parker; outcome: approved.
Administrative approvals: The court approved oral and written county-official reports, accepted the treasurer’s report (meeting record indicates named objections by "Angie and Adamson"), approved year-end budget line-item adjustments, and approved final pay orders.
