Spitzer described outreach and partnerships for special-needs events, noted the high volunteer turnout for the Hallmarks competition, and acknowledged contributions from fire/rescue and sheriff’s deputies for public safety. He also said the Fair Board and counties visited Rockingham County’s fair operation for benchmarking and noted plans to explore a demolition derby and fundraising for a future event barn.
Supervisors thanked staff and volunteers for the event and discussed potential next steps for infrastructure and revenue diversification for the fair.
