Council members asked whether other county entities and airport tenants had been informed; staff said the airport manager was aware and that prior multi‑hangar developments had raised concerns from outside entities. Staff also noted that, where a coordinated taxiway extension has broader airport benefit, the city has used cooperative funding arrangements in the past.
Council authorized the city manager to execute the ground lease (motion carried, 6–0). Staff said the lease structure provides that the hangar will become city property at the end of the lease term.
