District and City report summer school gains, strong turnout for ELOP program
Summary
District and City of Pacific Grove presented summer school academic interventions and the Extended Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) run with the city. Elementary reading interventions showed measurable average gains on DIBELS and the ELOP served an average of 65 children per week with field trips, pool sessions and family events.
Pacific Grove Unified School District and the City of Pacific Grove reported to the board on Oct. 2 that the district's 2025 summer programs produced academic gains and broad community participation.
