Council approves resolution extending Salary Commission deadline; consent agenda passes unanimously

Bothell — City council unanimously approved a resolution Oct. 21 to extend the Salary Commission’s deadline. Staff told council the Salary Commission had completed six meetings beginning Aug. 7 and had a public hearing and vote scheduled Oct. 30; the adopted resolution moves the final deadline for the commission’s recommendation from Nov. 5 to Nov. 30 to provide additional time for deliberation if needed.
Councilmember Dodd moved the resolution and Councilmember Aldrich seconded. The City Clerk recorded the roll call and the motion passed 7‑0.
Earlier in the meeting council considered the consent agenda, which passed on a motion from Councilman McCurdy with a recorded yes vote from all members (7‑0 recorded vote). The consent agenda items were listed on the meeting packet and no members requested removal for separate discussion.
