Commissioners approve vendor payments, contracts and grant extensions; roll call unanimous

The Clermont County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Oct. 15 to approve a slate of consent and nonconsent items presented by county staff.

The board adopted a resolution authorizing payment to vendors in the total amount of $4,608,079.34 and directed the county auditor to issue warrants in compliance with Ohio Revised Code §319.16. Commissioners also approved an amendment to the software maintenance agreement with Courtview Justice Solutions for up to $305,980 for calendar year 2026, contingent on the adoption of the 2026 appropriations and issuance of the required purchase order.

Other approved items included extension and renewal actions related to Ohio Transit Program grants to permit purchases and drawdowns through Sept. 30, 2026, totaling $258,865; an addendum to an existing service agreement adding bioptics at nine Clermont County locations for $44,770 through the current contract term; and authorization to advertise a request for competitive sealed proposals for a microwave backhaul network to serve 11 tower sites (proposals due 12/22/2025).

The board also approved nominations and resignations for the Clermont County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) with terms effective through Aug. 14, 2027, and authorized a professional services agreement with Moats Consulting Engineers for boiler replacement design at the Common Pleas Courthouse not to exceed $66,500.

Every motion referenced in the nonconsent agenda passed on roll call with each commissioner recorded as voting "yes." Executive session later in the meeting produced no votes or actions.
