The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 15 approved Amendment No. 1 to the professional-services contract with Hazen & Sawyer (Cincinnati) for project number 6402-60168, the Arrowhead Wastewater treatment plant elimination project in Miami Township.
Lyle (staff presenter) said the county had completed easement acquisition and was preparing to bid the project, and that the amendment would fund additional design work to build more capacity into the system to accommodate anticipated nearby development. The amendment increases the contract by $47,325 for a revised total of $271,525 and extends the contract duration by 140 calendar days to a revised 448-day duration, exclusive of county review time. The amendment is contingent upon release of the required purchase order.
The board voted unanimously to approve the amendment; staff said the next steps are release of the purchase order and finalizing bid-ready documents.
