Meade School District 46-1 held a special board meeting on Dec. 16, 2024, at the Williams Administrative Building for gavel training and routine business. The session began with a dinner that included board members and the presenter, followed by a 5:30 p.m. roll call.

Board Member Sandy Cass moved to approve the meeting agenda as presented; Megan Snyder seconded the motion and the motion carried. No members of the public spoke during the open forum.

Wade Pogany, ASBSD member services director, delivered gavel training focused on the foundations of school board governance and the purpose and scope of school boards. The training was presented to the assembled board members and staff in the training room.

Following the training, Brian Voight moved to adjourn the special meeting; Sandy Cass seconded the motion and it carried. The board adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
