At the Nov. 13 meeting the HWMA executive director reported that the organics processing feasibility request for proposals (RFP) is currently circulating and that staff expects results by the end of the month.

Staff said a proposer will likely be chosen and returned to the board for the January meeting, when Director Marias, the operations director, will present additional operational detail. The board has no meeting in December and scheduled follow‑up items for January.

The report was informational; no action was taken other than to note the timeline for the RFP results and future operational presentation.
