- Engineer services contract: Council authorized a contract with Jones & DeMille to provide about 10 hours per week of city-engineering services (see separate story). A conflict related to Jones & DeMille was declared earlier in the meeting by a council member; Councilmember Thomas abstained on the final vote.
- Front-office staffing: The council approved converting a part-time front-office position to full-time to replace a forthcoming retirement; staff estimated increased benefits and compensation costs and indicated an approximate increase in benefits of about $30,000 (total cost impact discussed as approximately $50,000 overall).
- Routine motions: The council moved to approve the Oct. 28, 2025 minutes and to approve warrants and cash disbursements for August and September 2025. Both motions were seconded and carried.
