P&Z holds orientation for new members; mayor thanks volunteers

He emphasized that the commission recommends approval or denial to council rather than approving projects outright and noted that many technical items are finalized at the platting stage.
Mayor Tiffany thanked commissioners for volunteering and encouraged collaboration with council and town staff as the commission prepares for 2026.
