Board approves two collective bargaining agreements and appoints budget committee members

The Clatsop County Board approved two collective bargaining agreements and made two countywide budget committee appointments during its business agenda.
Human Resources Director Rebecca Cameron presented the 2025–2028 collective bargaining agreement between Clatsop County and the Oregon Nurses Association, thanking the ONA bargaining team and staff. The board moved, seconded and approved the agreement and authorized the chair to sign.
Cameron then presented the 2025–2028 agreement between the county (District Attorney office) and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 2746 (DA unit). The board approved that agreement and authorized the chair to sign. During discussion Commissioner Webb noted an ongoing personnel investigation involving the DA's office; the DA’s representative said details would be handled in executive session.
Finance Director Andrew Sullivan presented applicants for two countywide budget committee vacancies. Commissioners moved and seconded appointments of David Ozer (District 3) and Bob Bomer (District 5) to full‑term appointments expiring in June 2028.
