"Her legacy in this community is incredible," Rogers said, recounting second‑ and third‑generation dancers who continue to participate.
Chair Quila moved the resolution and the board authorized the chair to sign the proclamation. Commissioners and attendees gathered for a photo and several former students and community members made brief remarks in support of the proclamation.
