The Hanover Area School District Board of Education conducted a series of routine votes at its Nov. 13, 2025, meeting, approving minutes, contract recommendations, financial items and personnel actions.
Minutes and superintendent’s report A motion to approve the regular meeting minutes of Oct. 14, 2025, and Intermediate Unit minutes of Sept. 24, 2025, passed after a roll-call vote (motion by Mr. Orvick; second by Miss Blich).
GESA energy-savings contractor Superintendent Daniel Malloy recommended McClure as the Guaranteed Energy Savings Act (GESA) contractor for the Waikisa project. The board approved the recommendation; roll-call votes recorded one abstention by Mr. Hyder with the remaining board members voting yes (tally recorded in the meeting: 8 yes, 1 abstain).
Financial recommendations The board moved to accept financial recommendation items 1 through 8. Roll-call voting recorded several member-specific variations (for example, an abstention on item 7 by one member and an abstention on item 1 by another); the board announced that financial recommendations 1, 3 and 8 passed as recorded in the roll call.

Those personnel items were approved by roll call.
Adjournment The board set meeting dates for early December and adjourned after a final motion and unanimous 'Aye' votes.
