Topgolf files building-permit application; commission hears other development updates

City staff told the Liberty Lake Planning Commission on Nov. 12 that the city has received a building-permit application for a Topgolf facility.
"We just received the building permit application for Topgolf," staff said, adding that the Topgolf site will be just east of Premier Parkway, south of the freeway. Commissioners asked clarifying questions about the location and nearby River District projects; staff also mentioned an incoming movie-theater project and active development across multiple areas of the city.
Staff also announced two commission reappointments — Jean and Charlie — will appear on the Nov. 18 city-council agenda at 6:00 p.m. and asked commissioners to be available in person or by Zoom.
What's next: The Topgolf permit is now in the building-permit pipeline and will follow the city's standard review process. Reappointments will be considered by the council at its Nov. 18 meeting.
