Sharp said the supermarket portion of the complex “had an older roof on it, and it's in tattered” condition and that management plans to obtain quotes and a timeline for roof and exterior work.
Sharp said management has paid a retainer, has started work on exterior trash removal, and is negotiating with tenants, including a mattress store that is behind on rent. He reported plans to consider bringing businesses back into the complex and noted, "There is plans... to bring things business and, even a small convention center there as well." He described efforts to secure broken windows and to install cameras for remote monitoring.
