Ralph Valenzizi, the committee presenter, said the district split an earlier library policy into three separate policies to meet state requirements and to add explicit rules for displays and reconsideration. “We took an old policy that we had, revised it so that it met state compliance and is now in three different policies,” Valenzizi said, explaining the intent to post corrected typographical edits before final adoption.
