The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors opened a public hearing and approved an amendment to the county budget for fiscal year 2025-26 on a unanimous roll-call vote.
Becky Lanahan, tax and finance officer in the auditor—s office, was introduced before the hearing on Resolution 71-2025. Chair opened the hearing and Supervisor (motion maker) moved to open the public hearing; after no members of the public offered testimony specific to the amendment, the board closed the hearing and moved to adopt the resolution. "We approve resolution number 71-2025, amending the budget for fiscal year 2025-26," the motion-maker said when presenting the motion for approval.
Mary Anne, the board clerk, recorded a roll-call vote with Chairman Shea, Supervisor Miller, Supervisor Bill, Supervisor Wickman and Supervisor Jorgensen each voting aye. The chair declared the motion carried.
