Levy school board elects Ashley Clemenzi chair, sets regular meeting schedule

Speaker 3 nominated Ashley Clemenzi for chair; after nominations ceased the board approved Clemenzi by voice vote. The board then nominated Mr. Whitehurst for vice chair and approved that nomination by voice vote.
The board also voted to set its regular meeting schedule: the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. and the fourth Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. These scheduling motions were moved, seconded and approved by voice votes. The board adopted the meeting agenda, approved minutes and passed the consent agenda during routine business later in the meeting.
Toward the meeting’s close the board made appointments to the Levy County Finance Authority for the 2025–26 year, nominating Ms. Kaminski as president and confirming the superintendent as secretary; both motions were approved by voice vote.
