Commissioners approve Reynolds Acres replat splitting one lot into two

Elise Foster, the county subdivision planner, presented a replat application to split a single lot in the former Lillick Sioux Subdivision into two lots to be called Reynolds Acres. Foster said no new roads would be created and both lots will access Touch Drive. She told commissioners the property already contains an existing home and the owners intend to build a new home on the newly created lot; testing for a new well and septic has been completed with Southeast Idaho Public Health.
"They are renaming this Reynolds Acres," Foster said, and she described that setbacks were met and the split would allow the owners to construct a second residence while retaining access and utilities.
Commissioners asked whether a new well and septic would be required; Foster confirmed they would and that pre‑testing had been completed. A commissioner moved to approve the replat and the motion passed by voice vote.
