The Berkeley County Commission approved a resolution amending the North Tax Increment Financing district to add parcels related to the CMC project. Commissioners sought clarification on the map, noting green parcels in the materials appear to include Martinsburg city parcels that were not intended to be part of the county TIF. Swisher said the intent was only to include the CMC parcels and that she would coordinate with county staff (John) to correct the map if necessary.
The commission moved to adopt the TIF amendment, authorized the president to sign the document, and approved the motion by voice vote. Staff committed to follow up with the Development Authority to ensure the final map reflects the intended parcels.
