Chairman then moved to enter executive session at 11:40 a.m. for the purpose of discussing personnel under the statutory exemption cited (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)). Tom Wilson moved to enter executive session and Tom Kitson seconded. The board completed a roll call vote in which multiple members were recorded as voting "Yes," and the motion carried.
The board scheduled discussion items for the Nov. 20 full board meeting, including a 4th-floor open house on Dec. 3, zoning petitions, department quarterly reports and draft budget/levy items. No other formal appointments or votes were taken before the meeting recessed into executive session.
