Tallmadge honors West Avenue Tavern owner Renee Crichton for community support

Councilwoman Tracy Pletcher presented a certificate of appreciation to Renee Crichton of West Avenue Tavern for her support of local schools, charitable giving and participation in community programs.
The Tallmadge City Council recognized Renee Crichton, owner of West Avenue Tavern, at its Nov. 13 meeting for ongoing community support. Councilwoman Tracy Pletcher presented a certificate of appreciation noting Crichton’s contributions to local school organizations through the dine-and-donate program, sponsorship of team meals and donations to community groups such as Tallmadge Good Neighbors and Heaven’s Helping Hands.
"Renee fully embraces the Tallmadge community by giving the best thing that anyone can give, and that is her time," Pletcher said while presenting the certificate. Crichton received the recognition and thanked the council.
The recognition was delivered during the agenda additions portion of the meeting and required no council action. The council proceeded afterward to committee reports and ordinance business.
