Daytona Beach code board issues multiple compliance deadlines, approves one lien reduction

The City of Daytona Beach Code Enforcement Board met Nov. 13, 2025 (in person and by Zoom) and processed more than 40 lien and compliance cases. The board issued findings of noncompliance for multiple properties and set compliance deadlines, mostly Dec. 31, 2025 (the January cutoff), and returned several matters to a January hearing for further review. Several properties were found in compliance and removed from active enforcement.
Why it matters: The board’s decisions determine whether property owners will face daily fines, the timing when contractors or owners must finish repairs, and whether existing code liens remain attached to title. For some owners the deadlines will affect insurance, permits and redevelopment timelines.
