Council members said non‑agenda public comment limits the council’s ability to take immediate action, but Galanter and staff discussed exploring a "nexus" between the hotel and the airport to pursue worker retention measures given the hotel's reliance on airport passengers. The council urged the speakers to continue their advocacy and said staff would follow up where possible.
