LCRA Transmission recognizes employees for continuous process improvements

The LCRA Transmission Services Corporation board on Nov. 12 recognized employees who participated in a continuous process improvement program that produced 50 approved proposals during fiscal 2025.
Chief Operating Officer Chris Kellner told the board that 131 employees participated and that the program aims to "promote worker involvement in departmental process improvements." Kellner highlighted three safety improvements that produced a portable control-house skid hauler to make transport safer, an asset‑validation mobile app to streamline entry into Maximo and changes to the energy management system alarm schema that cut alarm notifications roughly in half and reduced validation times from weeks to hours.
Kellner asked anyone involved in the listed improvements to stand for recognition and said, "people who do the work have the answers." The board offered brief thanks and moved on to the next agenda item.
