Superintendent-level administration provided routine announcements, including athletics and arts achievements: "My name is Lana Brown, and I'm the student council president of Abington Senior High School," Lana Brown told the board, reporting that the boys' varsity soccer team advanced in the PIAA tournament and that the marching band earned Class 4A state recognition and a national bronze medal. Jessica Jaglau, speaking for Abington Middle School student council, described the middle school's Thanksgiving food drive and other student activities.
