Parent raises questions about bus stops for new school; board says transportation draft is coming

King asked, explaining that she currently meets the Slate Creek bus and worried the new routes might require more parental pickup.
The presiding board member responded that Transportation Director Mr. Ward is actively working on the district's transportation plan for the new school and that the board had not yet seen a draft. The presiding officer said he expected a draft to be presented in the first quarter of next year and that the district would post the draft publicly and invite questions before a final plan and any vote.
The board did not make decisions on routing at the meeting; the presiding officer reiterated that Mr. Ward will present a draft, and that parents with concerns should submit them when the draft is released.
