Commissioner Madera called the bid results “particularly impressive” given a wide range of estimates at bid opening. The board approved the contract by voice vote (3-0).
The project will not accept alternates 1 and 2; county staff will monitor the contractor’s adherence to the timeline to ensure parking areas are available for early voting.
