District staff said a multi‑phase review that began with a July 31 request for information narrowed 11 submitted resources to two finalists and involved teachers, instructional coaches and parent representatives at multiple evaluation sites.
Eric Bridal, a district math coach, said the review used a rubric focused on alignment to Arizona standards, coherence with district practices, instructional supports, assessment and student supports.
