The Fuquay Varina Planning Board voted on Nov. 17 to adopt its 2026 meeting schedule, continuing regular meetings on the third Monday of each month and moving January’s meeting to avoid the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Planning staff presented the recommended calendar and said it mirrors the board’s usual cadence. A board member moved to adopt the proposed schedule, a second was recorded and the motion carried by voice vote.

The board then received a brief planning staff report on items since the Oct. 20 meeting and adjourned.
