At its Nov. 18 meeting the San Juan County Commission recorded the following formal actions:

- Consent agenda approved: Included ratification of an interagency Winter Response Grant contract with the Utah Department of Workforce Services for $5,000 to shelter individuals during Code Blue alerts; an alcohol banquet permit for Olam Moab under-canvas restaurant; and check registers for Nov. 6–14. (Motion and unanimous voice vote.)

- Appointment approved: Commissioner Stubbs named as the county’s primary representative and Commissioner Harvey as the alternate to attend an annual Utah County pool membership meeting scheduled for Nov. 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Megaplex Theatres at Jordan Commons in Sandy. (Motion approved.)

- Forest-health resolution approved: The commission approved a multi-county resolution urging the U.S. Forest Service to restore and maintain healthy forest conditions to mitigate catastrophic wildfire and included support for rescinding the roadless rule to facilitate treatments. (Motion approved by voice vote.)

- Data-privacy ordinance and privacy policy tabled: Commissioners asked staff to clarify which officials the ordinance should name, how to list IT contacts (county employee and/or contracted provider), and to separate oversight duties from technical implementation. Staff will revise and return the documents. (Motion to table approved.)

- Adjourned: The meeting recessed with an intended reconvening at 2:00 p.m.
