The commission approved Resolution 47-2025 to appoint a Weber County representative and alternate to attend and vote at the Utah Counties Indemnity Pool (UCIP) annual membership meeting.
Chris Crockett explained UCIP comprises most Utah counties and provides liability and property coverage through a pooled arrangement. Crockett said two county representatives must be designated to attend the annual meeting; he indicated he will attend and serve on county behalf. Commissioner Gage Frower moved to appoint Chris Crockett as the county’s voting representative and to serve as the alternate himself. The resolution passed by roll call vote.
Implementation: the named representative will attend the UCIP annual meeting and vote on behalf of Weber County; the alternate will serve as backup.
