North Suburban Library District introduces new director John Mark Bolthouse

John Mark Bolthouse, the newly appointed director of the North Suburban Library District, addressed the Village of Machesney Park Board of Trustees Monday to introduce himself and outline the district—s outreach and services.
Bolthouse said he most recently served at the Fond du Lac Public Library in Wisconsin and described the North Suburban district—s community outreach programs at sites such as the Burpee, the YMCA and Anderson Gardens. He noted the library system—s extensive locker system that provides 24/7 access to holds and invited board members and residents to ask questions and engage with library offerings.
A resident in the audience complimented the locker system for its convenience to grandchildren. Bolthouse said he was "very excited" to join the district and thanked the board for the opportunity to introduce himself.
