Sarissa (senior management coordinator) presented a grants dashboard showing 37 grants awarded or active since 2024 with roughly $4.0M awarded and total value (including city match) just over $5.0M. She said most awards support public safety, infrastructure/asset management and livable development goals and that grant risk exposure for federal funds is low to moderate on the current portfolio.
City Manager Funk and staff said they have been selective about pursuing grants that fit strategic priorities and that tracking and managing awards requires staff capacity; several councilmembers praised the dashboard format as a concise tool for tracking alternative revenue streams. Staff will continue to bring grants items to council when significant program requirements or matches are required.
